These photos are taken from the brackets from a 1966 'S', the 3 hole bracket was introduced in October 1964, prior to that a similar bracket with a single hole was fitted. Very early Minis had the bracket welded to the crossmember. The seat was bolted to the 3 hole bracket (using 1/4" diameter bolt), but was held in place with a rivet on the single hole bracket.
