Welcome to the Mini Register web site, cyber home of one the oldest of the Mini Clubs Established back in 1969 by group of Mini enthusiasts, The Mini Register quickly grew to be an International club with members across the world. The club name was derived from that of the MG TF Register which at the time had very similar objectives to our own. We wanted Mini enthusiasts, where ever they be, to be able to register their cars and their enthusiam and communicate through the newsletter with like minded Mini enthusiasts. For 30+ years the club existed purely in the physical world, with the periodic newsletter (The Register) being printed and posted. Over this period, the level of enthusiam waxed and waned but the original group who founded the club still meet on a regular basis. At the Mini in the Park meeting in 2002, a big decision was taken by the club, we decided to bring the club right up to date and replace the traditional print & post with the wonders of the Internet. The official meduim of the club is now this web site and a bi-monthly e-mail version of The Register. At the same time we decided to embrace the owners of the new BMW MINI, although contravercial at the time, it has become apparent that although this is not the Issigonis creation, it does have a lot of its predecessor's characteristics like fun, practicality and a personality. The owners of the MINI are just as enthusiastic as those of the Original Mini. We hope that through the club we will be one community of Mini enthusiasts, there is enough devision in this world, we are all here to have fun so lets do it together. If you are a Mini enthusiast like us, come and join us, there is no membership fees, you just register your details and you are a member. What we would like is your participation in sending details for our bi-monthly e-mail newsletter, sending details and photos of your car(s) and yourself for our Member's Cars section and attending Mini shows with us Please feel free to browse around and if you would like to comment on the site, or the club in general, use the contact page
