The original plan was to buy an older mini and have it re-built, trimmed and painted to match Rob's weekend car, but when we found this one, the plan was cancelled.

Compared to the original plan, work on the mini has been minimal(!)

We've had a radio / aerial fitted,  changed the headlights to halogens and invested in 4 new tyres, as the original 1996 tyres were still on the car when we bought her.

Rob had not driven a mini until we acquired this one, and he was “pleasantly surprised” when he drove this one – i.e. He loved it!

Having owned MGs in the past, we're quite used to a lively social scene revolving around cars, but we haven't seen any mini events yet. As Rob is a keen photographer, he's quite looking forward to getting involved soon.

Rob is also quite keen on car polishing, which Di appreciates... funnily enough
