Palo Alto British Car Meet - September 13th & 14th

The 24th Annual

        PALO ALTO BRITISH CAR MEET

       SEPTEMBER 13th & 14th, 2003

Once again, be part of the biggest British automotive lawn event in California.  Over 600 classic, quirky and thoroughly lovable British cars are expected to fill the field at El Camino Park  for the 24th Annual Palo Alto British Car Meet.

SUNDAY SHOW  -  SEPTEMBER 14th

Join us for the Best All British Car Show In The West!  Don't have a show car?  Don't worry!  Daily drivers, vintage racers, street rods & works-in-progress are as welcome as concours quality show cars. Great British food, jazz, new parts, literature, toys, gifts and more fun than you'll be able to tolerate!  People's Choice awards in six classes.  Join your British car friends for a smashing day at the park.

Cars will be placed on the field, by marque, at  about 9:00AM, and the fun goes on all day.  The registration fee is $25 per car at the gate. There is no preregistration. All participants will receive a commemorative gift.

Spectators park and attend free.

Again this year we will be visited by the Arcane Auto Society and their wonderful, whimsical cars from around the world. Last year, this was one of our more popular new features and there is no reason why their display will not be bigger and more unusual for 2003!

SATURDAY TOUR - SEPTEMBER 13th

The British Car Meet Tour To The Sea starts at El Camino Park in Palo Alto - the same place as the Sunday Car Show.  This is a no-cost option for people who like to drive their cars as well as show them. It will also be open to the Arcane Auto owners.  We will be sending cars off between 9:00AM and 10:00AM.  Don't be late!   The event will end at Cameron's Pub in Half Moon Bay where we will be kicking tyres and telling tall tales in the car park into the afternoon.

Mod'n'Mini night - Ace Cafe - October 2nd

Michigan British Reliability Run  - October 4th & 5th

Here's a challenging, but fun, driving event to benefit a great charity, the Hemophilia Foundation of Michigan. The 2003 Michigan British Reliability Run is an all-British driving event scheduled for October 4-5, 2003

Sponsored by the Detroit Triumph Sportscar Club, it's an 800 mile run in 36 hours around the lower peninsula of Michigan with a goal of raising $500 per crew to send kids with hemophilia to summer camp. The event is open to any British marque vehicle

Organisers are hoping to get 20-30 British cars to participate for this first-of-its-kind event in Michigan. Even if you can't participate in the run, please help the cause by helping to sponsor one of the participating cars by making a pledge of any size

For more information and to register for the event see the event web site at www.mibrr.com
